The screwing of the American worker (one of an endless series)

Even if you accept the argument that the Senate bill designed to tax American companies that outsource jobs was mere election year theater, the stench of Gloat coming off of Orrin Hatch (R-Herbal Supplements) is still enough to make you nauseous.

Let's just say that if the House bill providing medical benefits to 9/11 first responders fails in the Senate, I'll be really angry. Surprised, no. But angry, yes.

(Aforementioned mood music provided via this link.)

"Okay, lady, where are the dirty books?"

I'm typing this at Sulzer Library right now, and although I tried to find a couple of books to borrow that would appropriately honor Banned Books Week due to their former legal statuses, neither this tome from 1934 or this nasty little volume from 1959 were in circulation. It figures. It's getting so hard to be a proper degenerate these days...

That's one loooooong commute
