"Congratulations" to new Alabama Governor Robert Bentley for making one of the dumbest statements any newly inaugurated official can make. Unfortunately, my guess is that his core constituency is eating this up with a vengeance.

Yeah, no kidding. For a bunch of people who throw around all sorts of unsubstantiated nonsense (read: the "Obama is a Communist Muslim Illegal Immigrant from Alpha Centauri" crowd and all that), you'd think that they *might* be able to pass up a slug like West in a primary, but no.
