If you're a fellow Bears fan, you're not hallucinating. Jerry Angelo did trade for him.

The only questions are these: will our offensive line be able to adequately protect him? Will he make our below-average receiving corps look above average, at least? And will he get over his attitude problems and avoid becoming the NFL's answer to Milton Bradley?

Don't know, but it's worth finding out, IMHO.

Well, the vultures homed in on his carcass today. Him and a bunch of his friends, that is.  

Much like the previous Governor Crook from The Other Party, I have a distinct, healthy lack of sympathy for him. He lives mere blocks from my chosen abode and sets off the many alarms I've put all over my neighborhood that alert me when a truly colossal scumbag drives by. Trust me on this - where he's concerned, the sensitivity settings don't have to be tweaked all that much.

I suspect the definition of "patriot" that this group believes in amounts to "guys who couldn't make it in a militia in the 90's and decided to regroup after their local cable network stopped carrying pro wrestling", or something like it.

Unsuprisingly, this goofy little peanut gallery has been promoted by Joseph Farah's own attempt to kill as many brain cells by means of the Internet as possible, WorldNut Daily.  Quelle surprise. 

For further yuks, Mike Dunford also brings up a strange little bit of revisionist history these mopes seem to believe about who was king when the British colonized North America.
