Well, since he was one of the ringleaders of one of the most infamous multiple murders of the civil rights era, what sort of sentiment did you expect? Actual sympathy?

After hearing about this when I woke up for work today (what, you ask? read this), something wonderful that I can hope for in life is some sort of freak accident where Sarah Palin is clobbered on the ground by a grand piano dropping from 10,000 feet out of an otherwise clear blue sky.

Oh, how I'm pissed. Especially at the Dems who caved into this nonsense.

BTW, fellow elected loony Michelle Bachmann (R-Even Worse) is now playing the "son" card Palin first used. It's just too bad that the newspaper article she's referring to said nothing of the sort.

While staggering around in the southern Wisconsin heat last Saturday at the Bristol Renaissance Faire, the last thing I was thinking of was seeing Hayao Miyazaki's latest, but the fact that it scored a 93 on Rotten Tomatoes (in comparison to, say, a film about toys, something that looked horribly reminiscent of Gray's Anatomy with timeslips in commercials, something that looks just plain bad and something that's actually worse than that) makes me want to check it out - just not this very instant.
