In Memoriam: Jeanne Robinson, 1948-2010
Jun. 1st, 2010 06:52 pmSometimes, the news you get after a holiday makes having to go back to work seem incredibly insignificant in comparison.
I'd rather not have my page littered with obituaries, but it seems that including hers is more than appropriate due both to their fannish relevance and the fact that she and Spider Robinson were supposed to make it to last February's Capricon but couldn't due to her health. The official notice from Spider's web site is here.
(They were able to participate in the Cap opening ceremonies via teleconferencing, though, and I'd greatly appreciate it if someone posted a link - if any exists - to the video footage. Thanks in advance.)
