You've gotta say one thing about Mike Adams: he's consistent. Previous examples of him waxing nutjob on various subjects (such as the death of Patrick Swayze and health care reform that doesn't take woo-driven quackery into "proper" account) were pretty bad, but now Orac has found 10 more goodies that'll make you shake your head.

I'm especially amused by this one:

Doctors don't even study health; they study disease. Modern doctors are taught virtually nothing about nutrition, wellness or disease prevention. Expecting a doctor to guide you on health issues is sort of like expecting your accountant to pilot a jet airliner -- it's simply not something he or she has ever been trained in.

Yeah. Sure. So when my doctor warned me about my LDL cholesterol level, that had nothing to do with nutrition, wellness or disease prevention even though a suggestion that I modify my diet certainly applies to the first example and another one that I may need to go on medication to bring my LDL level down definitely applies to the latter two.

And Adams actually gets paid to write this idiocy?
