Gays and Lesbians are now being violently attacked after being outed by a newspaper in the wake of one of the world's most draconian laws against homosexuality being proposed in parliament. Quelle surprise.

Wouldn't it be nice if some of the evangelicals proposing these laws would be exposed as homosexuals, even if they weren't, mwa ha ha ha?

What I found especially unappealing was the logic that the publishers used to defend this crap:

"They take advantage of poverty to recruit Ugandans. In brief, we did so because homosexuality is illegal, unacceptable and insults our traditional lifestyle."

Okay, let me see here: according to the logic of the publishers of _Rolling Stone_ (the US rock mag should look into suing them for using that name, even if such a suit is pointless), poor people are apparently being "recruited" into homosexuality because (A) all gays are apparently filthy rich and (B) only "recruit" people into that lifestyle by paying them enough for it.

Unsuprisingly, they used the canard of "tradition" as a support for urging on this kind of thuggery as well. Again, what a surprise...
