You can't really predict history, much less short-term politics, but I have a sinking feeling that this analysis is far from inaccurate. If so, my bucket of vomit is about to be refilled.

*Cough* Scott Brown *Cough*, unless he goes the Lowell Weicker/Lincoln Chaffee route and takes a contrarian stance for the same reasons they did.

(OTOH, Martha Coakley - from what I've heard - ran a really, really bad campaign and practically handed Brown the Ted Kennedy seat, so what do you do in a situation like that?)

Yeah, that's what happened. And the Republicans want him to run for President.

I don't think he'll be reelected.
