It never fails: the ghost of the Scopes trial hovers over this state in ways both unpleasant and entirely predictable, considering that no less than six of these things have been introduced in state legislatures since the beginning of the year.  

I'm done posting for now, believe me. There's only so much lunacy from elected officials you can read about in one day.
