Uh...before you sign that thing...
In this day and age, you'd assume that Presidential candidates - no matter how barmy their POV is - just might have people around for the purpose of looking over the text of things they endorse. Apparently, Michele Bachmann and Rick Santorum don't. That, or they actually agreed with the sentiment of the paragraph that mysteriously disappeared as quickly as a Politiburo member from Kremlin reviewing stand photos after a show trial.
Oh, and then there's the other stuff in the Family Leader pledge that FL didn't delete and which presumably the two candidates agree with. Tres nauseating, no?
Speaking of groups with the word "Family" in the title...
The Family Research Council doesn't hate gays. Honest. It just wants to see them imprisoned in Third-World countries where I'm sure they'll get the best protective custody available during their sentence.
Praying the Evil Vaccine away
Orac posts about Woomeister Joe Mercola again, who is now invoking the name(s) of T3H 0N3 TRU3 REL1G10N(S)!!1!! in an effort to convince us that Vaccines Are Evil. I think he's much closer to convincing us that Joe Mercola is a worthless turd, myself.
