I'm sure that the admission that I occasionally listen to NPR will identify me as a member of the Satanic Communist Alien Conspiracy to Defame Sarah Palin to some, but this Fresh Air interview of Max Blumenthal concerning some of the major motivators behind the Birther movement (among other things) was more than a bit creepy to listen to at work.

(BTW, donation of fresh human pineal glands to the SCACDSP are, sadly, not tax-exempt at this moment, although our evil alien overlords are working on this issue and will gladly give you a free Alien Abduction Fun Pass to Zeta Reticuli instead. Tell your friends!)

It seems weird that Milwaukee is now turning into the sort of city that
people might reflexively bring up in the same way that Chicago used
to be mentioned for Richard Speck and John Wayne Gacy.

It looks like Urkel is making even Blago's abysmal approval ratings look good in comparison.

A sure sign that the sharks smell blood: four announced primary opponents in an election that'll be held early next year.

The latest score:

Of the eight most recent emails that got past my spam filter for one of my email accounts, half were phishing expeditions.

If only there were a way to deliver steaming dog turds to spammers through cyberspace.

The school board in Arlington, Texas has some funny ideas about using its budget to bus students to see a former president after
refusing to show a speech by the current one.

Okay, so it's not an out-and-out atrocity against the human race;  it's still a sign that The Stupid are hard at work down there.

(Sports peeve: I also noticed that several former Dallas Cowboys would also be speaking at this shindig. I thank the Cowboys for allowing me yet another opportunity to redefine my utter hatred for that particular NFL franchise.)
