Further upchuck from the Steubenville case

It's bad enough that a 16-year-old girl got raped by two high school football players. Now consider the extra tragedy of her having to put up with several different kinds of idiocy and/or outright sociopathy at work, including fellow students joking about her being raped, media coddling of the perpetrators as if they were the victims and not her (and an Onion parody that actually predicted that coddling), A simply wonderful story concerning how the players' head coach tried to hush the incident up, assorted asshats blaming the victim not-so-anonymously via Twitter and - last and certainly not least - two death threats aimed at the victim from classmates. Two female classmates at that, for crying out loud.

At this point, I'd try to make some snarky comment about the total idiocy and complete lack of humanity on the part of the people quoted in those links. I can't, though. The quoted material speaks for itself all too well.
