I remember reading one of the "-face" novels (i.e., Interface, Volteface and Multiface), but he seems to be thoroughly out of print even though that particular book seemed full of appropriately bleak dystopian ideas a la seventies John Brunner and was a fairly good read despite the rather pat happy ending. Inquiring hive minds want to know more.
