The Stupid down in Texas: an update

the_archfiendAs far as wingnuttery goes, Texas gov Rick Perry is the gift that keeps on giving, as witnessed by his replacing goofball Don McLeroy as chair of the Texas Board of Education with the equally grotesque Cynthia Dunbar.
Likewise, some of you may remember an earlier post of mine decrying a similar situation concerning the social sciences curriculum approved by the TBoE. As predicted, the efforts of the current "experts" is bearing some genuinely foul-smelling fruit. Unsurprisingly, David Barton's fingerprints are found all over this pile of drivel.
Ah, Texas politicians. Thanks for giving us a state that makes even South Carolina look better, guys.
