On Francis Collins and the NIH

Like Orac, I don't particularly think Collins' evangelical religious views will interfere with the work of the National Institutes of Health now that he's in charge of it. YMMV, of course.

Really appreciated that post. Seems like it's more of an "us vs them issue"; the atheists don't want one of them in power. *sigh*

This is a trifle ridiculous, if you ask me.

As many problems as I have with fundamentalist wackjobs (look at some of my posts!), I have a hard time taking people seriously who take *exactly the same tack* that fundies take with *them*. The major difference, of course, is that no one's proposing a boycott of NIH or anything equally dumb.
