I saw an old advertisement talking about the health benefits of smoking. Ads are always a good source of reliable scientific information, so I think I'll take up smoking.

Heh. Speaking of which, there's an audio drop of a 50's radio commercial that Boers and Bernstein play on the score around Thanksgiving that extols overloading your turkey with butter, butter and yet *more* butter in order to...uh...give you and your family massive heart attacks, apparently.

You've gotta love the completely lack of self-awareness that cranks and/or advertising people are capable of when they sell complete crap. For entirely different *reasons*, mind you, but they're both still bereft or any critical thinking on their chosen product.
