I'm sure the esteemed Mr. Hayward will get his life back after explaining to all of those residents of the Gulf Coast that he was trying to be funny.

My bad. I guess I've been watching too much topical humor lately to know when someone is actually
being publically clueless without being part of a comedy act.

Anybody want to drop Hayward a line on why there's just a bit of a fallacy in that argument, particularly concerning catastrophic, localized damage to frail ecosystems like the ones in Plaquemines Parish?
