Not only do you have a dominant political party that wants to reinstate a law smacking of medieval religious fanaticism, but they're in such good company when it comes to overreaching.

I'm looking forward to a time when Rick Perry's wet dream of secession becomes reality and we can write that place off as an willing, aspiring Third World hellhole.
