Arthur Caplan on the stem cell injunction

This story apparently hit so quickly that I can't find any comments on it at scienceblogs.com - yet - but Arthur Caplan has seen fit to opine on msnbc.com on what may be one of the most ridiculous Trojan Horses embedded in a Federal appropriations bill.

Unfortunately, it's just another token that this non-issue in practically every *other* country that can engage in stem cell research is just another political/culture war football over here.

Nice of them to forget the possibility that research like this might actually result in a cure or treatment for any number of serious congenital diseases.
