Ed Brayton has provided no less than three recent doozies via Dispatches for the Culture Wars, and these quotes from Gary North concerning "citizenship," the proper punishment for saying certain kinds of naughty words and what he thinks the true purpose of education is just adds to the size of the Loon Sundae that David Chilton's previously noted hunk of antisemitic wackjobbery started a few days ago.
Lest you think these guys harmless, run-of-the-mill kooks with not much in the way of money, consider that one of their brethren - Howard Ahmanson - has very, very deep pockets and has funded everything from Proposition 8 in California to the Discovery Institute and a slew of other fairly disgusting undertakings.
