Despite some rather pointed criticisms by a certain General who's in a position to know, the Rev. Terry Jones and the other residents of his moron farm named Dove World Outreach Center continue to insist that burning copies of the Koran is a Necessary and Right Thing To Do, and damn the consequences.
You can almost smell the crayon he used when he concocted this idea, and you can definitely tell that the Stupid meme is in full force when you consider some other examples of the mentally feeble trying to make a statement by demanding similar treatment of books considered holy or otherwise:

Outside West Bend, the fight caught the attention of Robert Braun, who, with three other Milwaukee-area men, filed a claim against West Bend calling for one of the library's books to be publicly burned, along with financial damages.
The four plaintiffs -- who describe themselves as "elderly" in their complaint --- claim their "mental and emotional well-being was damaged by [the] book at the library."
Granted, I've cited West Bend before, but it seemed completely appropriate to bring it up again since it's yet another indication that truly, truly ignorant people will always stoop to moral outrage when faced with the terror caused by someone publishing a book they've probably never read.
